Dr. Salvador Figueroa received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas in Tampico, Mexico in 1986. Moved to the United States in 1987 with his wife Maria for his post graduate education. In 1990 he completed a 1 year Transitional Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. Then moved to Oklahoma City for his Pediatric Residency at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma and finally to Detroit Michigan for his Allergy & Immunology Fellowship at the Henry Ford Hospital System where he graduated in 1996. Dr. Figueroa joined Southwest Asthma & Allergy Associates in 1997 and sees patients in the Kingwood and Spring offices.

Dr. Figueroa has lived in the Kingwood Area since moving to Houston in 1997. He has been married for 31 years to his wife Maria and has a daughter, Loren and a son Salvador, both in their twenties. Dr. Figueroa enjoys all types of music, reading and sports.

He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys also helping the Hispanic community in Houston which has grown significantly since moving to Houston 20 years ago.

Dr. Figueroa sees both children and adults for allergies, asthma, eczema, food allergies, drug allergies, etc. He takes most types of commercial insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. He strives to treat everybody with care and compassion and enjoys the long term relationships he has wuth many patients in his practice.
